Terms of Endearment on WLRN's Saturday Night at the Movies
I had just turned 5 years old, we lived in an extremely small camper in homestead, In the middle of some farmers cherry tomato field. Woke up alone in the middle of the storm. what woke me was the trailer flipping. I was afraid to go outside for weeks after this. I would scream and cry to be let back in the camper. It haunts me to this day.

I can't imagine how hurt and angry the people that are trying to save these whales shame on the boaters that could care less this has been a really eye-opening heartbreaking show to watch and I feel like there's nothing I can do even though I don't go to the ocean haven't been to the ocean but once or twice but I don't want nothing to happen to the animals in the ocean it was really heartbreaking to see that this is happening as humans we have to do better
ruclips.net/video/OFLQrnfXp9Q/видео.htmlsi=Yy9B6Fip_2S2ESv1. About Dana Dorsey black American millionaire.
I was very young when I saw this, but that "knife in the nostril" scene, where he cuts Jack? Still burred into my memory
Very disappointed with PBS for claiming that the anti disco movement embodied anti gay and racist under currents. I listened regularly to the Steve and Gary show in Chicago and anti gay or racist components were not part of the anti disco movement. Leave it to PBS to inject THEIR bias into the film. They did the same type of shameful bias injection at the end of the Ken Burns film "US and the holocost" when they inject "racism" as part of the narrative towards the end of that film. I was flabbergasted to see that. I now recognize Ken Burns and PBS productions as biased and one sided. Not true documentarians. Always skewed. No homophobia or racism during Disco demolition and no racism tacked onto the end of US and the holocost. I speak the truth.
A tribute band now, but great Southern Rock will never die. Seeing them in AC and Gilford, NH this summer. Nothing like "Freebird" live. May God continue to bless the departed members of the band and continued blessings to the ones who keep this great music alive.
if this was done by trump left will cry
28:15 why this people never talk about joe's student loan debt forgiv how is that polling well ? so polling is wrong ..
What soulless developers are okay in destroying a historic site like this, which itself stands as a symbol of the history of Miami itself, yet are perfectly fine with building over it like it was nothing. Same problem happened with the discovery at Surfside after that building collapsed. Miami politicians let this happen for greed of waterfront property, the money is just too good of a take for soulless people like that.
Is he burning in hell today?
BW abort 38% of us in America, over 50% of Black babies are aborted in NYC. Blame white woman Margaret Sanger founder of THE NEGRO PROJECT.
This tea gave me my life back. Got me off of my life time supply of narcotics for my all over body pain caused by autoimmunity/fibromyalgia. I now live clear minded and no longer in a cloud, I have energy again & I the most clean pain relief I’ve ever experienced with no gross side effects.
They are my new FAVORITES!! YO SOY BORICUA PERO ESTO ESTA EN CANDELA!!! DIOS LOS BENDIGA!!
Kratom helped me from a life of Drug and alcohol addiction. 7 years sober in February. My life has never been more blessed
Imagine if all politicians were held accountable for their actions.
This goes on in Florida!?!?
WLRN Public Radio and Television, I really liked this video! I subscribed too!
Thank you! And thank you for subscribing!
Woahh
Shocker: the Suboxone doctor is against kratom being legal and accessible
I no longer need long lists of medications, or spend most of my time in the dr office or pharmacy. Follow the money!
Same I’ve been prescribed/cycled through 15+ antidepressants, 3 different benzodiazepines, I’ve tried every opioid narcotic and nerve medication on the block. Ate so many ibuprofen and aspirin that my livers and kidneys were suffering. And this miracle leaf replaced every last one and helped with every ailment. Plus blood work/labs to show the results!
@candacemccurry6883 There are many more stories like our's at @KratomStory 🥰
Names please? Saved my life since 2016. Nothing else helped my interstitial cystitis, abdominal adhesion, fibro and kidney stone pain. That's why they want to ban it and spread misinformation.
DO NOT ALLOW A DOCTOR TO PUT YOU ON SUBOXONE OR METHADONE TO GET OFF KRATOM! You’re allowing them to put you on an actual opioid to get off of a food. What do you put them on to get off of suboxone or methadone? It’s the person that’s the problem NOT the substance…good lawd. 27:24
Medical examiners have been approached by the FDA to say “Mitragynine Toxicity” before. I would like to see those tox screens of the 46 people. Did they test for Tianeptine or Phenibut too? 25:26
They got the Kratom wobbles for consuming too much. Eat burnt toast, chug some water and sit down. Or, just make yourself puke 21:04
In 2008. I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease(L4-L5) and epilepsy. That began a whole slew of different kinds of pain pills, injections, doctors’ appointments and pharmacies. I noticed I started becoming addicted to pain pills after I lost my house and my job in 2009 due to my health issues. That and issues going on in my home life slammed me into a deep depression. From then on I couldn’t function without a pill. I’d be so out of it for 2 weeks out of the month because my 30 day supply would only last me a couple of weeks. When I wasn’t pilled up, I stayed in bed and only did the bare minimum in life until my next doctor’s appointment. My pill cocktail was Oxycodone, MS Contin, Soma, Klonopin and fioricet. I was fired from my pain management clinic in April 2019 because I didn’t show up for a per contract pill count. I knew I was 11 pills short so I just didn’t show up! From May to June my kid’s father came out here for my second daughter’s graduation. I had already gone through detox and I think he helped occupy my mind. My plan was once we dropped him off at the airport, I was going to start looking for another doctor. Instead, I watched Leaf of Faith on June 25th 2019. I learned that Kr@tom is a Southeast Asian herb that many are using for pain relief and to treat addiction. The very next day I went to the local smoke shop and bought some Kr@tom. And here I am today, sober-ish and staying sober-ish because of Kr@tom and w33d! Kr@tom not only brings my pain level from a 10 to a 3, it also stops the opioid cravings and elevates my mood along with the w33d. I am a brand-new version of the old me. I am a thriving and functioning mother and member of society again. Plain leaf unadulterated Kr@tom and w33d are the tools I need for recovery . In all honesty, I am still amazed that I’m alive today. If you think plain leaf unadulterated Kr@tom doesn’t work, then by all means ask me how I am a recovered addict today. I and millions of others are living, breathing proof that Kr@tom works! Kr@tom is FREEDOM, Kr@tom is LIFE!
The FDA couldn’t even admit under oath earlier this year that “Kratom is dangerous.”
Love how the Tampa Bay Times reporters didn’t mention that a Kratom lawsuit trial attorney funded their articles. Conflict of interests much? 11:23
too bad they are not together anymore, leslie and her husband on timbales have their own projects...
they are all excellent musicians, specially my girl leslie on the vocals, great voice and espiritu....lots of soul....
Was always fascinated in the history of Miami Beach and what it originally looked like before it is now. I don't think there's any spare piece of land on that peninsula that has been taken by real estate. Unless you tear down old buildings to build new. Thanks
Thank you for watching!
How can we watch the entire documentary?
This was made ten years ago. It's now 2024. The people on both sides are wonderful. They all want peace and live together in harmony. I have a greater respect for all the innocent people who just want to live their lives. It's sad what is happening now. I'm surprised there aren't more comments to this video. Rick is educating people about the different Middle East countries.
I like this show 🙂
I love you and your program I wish I could find more about my family
I would love to go on finding my roots. Have people other than celebrities. They can't be anymore interesting than me. We might even be related. Who knows. Just saying
This is a masterful and visually powerful account of what happened in 1967 and what the presidential commission that was charged with investigating the rioting found.
I was intrigued with finding your roots the first time I saw it. To me it is a GOD send. Because a lot of us don't know where we come from. Especially if you are Black. I don't know how much it cost to have it done. But I PRAY that some day I can have mine done.
About $49-59 when they run specials. The more people that participate the better the results. Don't wait to late. I wanted an uncle to take it but unfortunately he passed before we could have him do a DNA test
I have a historically compelling DNA which started with 34% west African and the remainder European including Scandinavian and Irish and French my mothers maiden name being Burbank. I suppose having ones DNA showcased would be quite expensive ?

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie when it was released back then. Especially having watched it at an old movie theater.✨💙💫
People would tune in to watch this man read the newspaper! A once in a generation talent.
Sad how many rednecks there are.
The beach that everyone feels the need to go to and pretend like they did something but have no idea it is man made converted to a beach in 1920. South Beach, Florida. Swamp land and forest stolen indian land converted into a sh!t show tourist attraction.
Unfortunately.
